About the Course
This course describes how to create, set-up, and execute a successful and effective online course for your learners. No matter what content you are tasked with teaching, this course will instruct you on how to engage your learners so they can apply what they have learned to real-life experiences. We will review adult learning theories as well as the latest research in eLearning theories to ensure you have a strong foundation in what teaching methodologies are proven to work in an online forum. We will study best practices on pacing, settings in Moodle, grading, meaningful feedback, zoom, and effective web tools. As with all courses, we want to create a culture of self-reflection. So be prepared to reflect on your thoughts and feelings with regard to the content you are learning as well as the activities you participate in. This course will serve as an essential resource so that you will always have a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips, as well as downloadable templates, tutorial videos, and critical instructions on how to facilitate a successful engaging class.
